With the Young Proxeo Twist Cordless, the treatment position can be adjusted at any time – without any annoying cables. Thanks to its ergonomic design, the lightweight handpiece adapts perfectly to the user’s movements. This supports a back-friendly posture and enables particularly muscle-friendly polishing.
The wireless foot control allows maximum freedom of movement and quick position changes around the patient. The speed is continuously adjustable from 0 to 2,500 rpm, so the speed can be precisely adjusted to the respective clinical requirements at any time.
The modular handpiece can be used flexibly with two prophylaxis attachments: Young polishing cups with screw-type connection or the practical Disposable Prophy Angle (DPA) from Young – all free of BPA and latex.
The color coding of the tooth polishing cups allows quick differentiation between the different degrees of firmness (extra soft, soft or hard). Our Elite Original polishing cup also reduces splashing and aids interproximal cleaning.
The narrow neck and small head make even hard-to-reach areas of the mouth easily accessible. There are four different attachments to choose from, including the Elite cup with external grooves to reduce splashing, a 90° angle cup and an angled attachment for improved ergonomics.

Both the Proxeo Twist Cordless and the foot control can be wiped down with disinfectant. The handpiece sleeve is also suitable for sterilisation and thermal disinfection.
Regardless of whether the attachment for Young prophylaxis contra-angles or the attachments for Young prophylaxis polishing cups are used, the Young Proxeo Twist handpiece always weighs 145 g.
The BPA- and latex-free Young Prophy contra-angles and the Young polishing cups in screw type are available directly from us or conveniently from your trusted specialist dealer.
The battery usually lasts a full working day – that’s about 8–12 patients with a polishing time of 4–6 minutes per patient (measured by the actual activation time of the foot control).
With average use – 8–12 patients per working day, each requiring 4–6 minutes of use – the battery lasts for around two months.
The speed of the polishing cup is conveniently controlled by the intensity of the pressure applied to the foot pedal.
